I’m Sir Thomas Ingilby, the proprietor of The Boar’s Head at Ripley Castle in North Yorkshire, and I'm also Chairman of The Great Inns of Britain, a collection of Britain's finest traditional inns.

You'll find that our rooms tend to have names rather than numbers, because they're all unique as well. And whilst your room might have a four poster bed, antique furniture and traditional fabrics, it might just as easily be a stylish suite with all mod cons – but whichever you choose, your comfort is guaranteed.
