It's the very least that Sarah and Anson Bolton and their team deserve after all their hard work in making the Millstone one of the best places to eat, drink and stay in the UK.
This restaurant with rooms is set in the picturesque village of Mellor, a world away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, yet conveniently located close to the M6 and the M65.
Foodie fans are well catered for – the Millstone’s restaurant has 2 AA Rosettes and is the highest rated AA 2 star in Lancashire. Chef Patron Anson Bolton works closely with local suppliers; favourites include Morecambe Bay potted shrimps and Pendle Lamb, whilst daily specials supplement both the restaurant and bar menus. The Millstone hosts regular foodie events and evenings. Rooms are wonderfully comfortable, using sumptuous fabrics and fine linen. All have beautifully appointed bathrooms whilst the suites offer even more space and cosy sitting areas.
