The Great Inns of Britain is proud to announce that The Feversham Arms & Verbena Spa in Helmsley, North Yorkshire has been crowned ‘Hotel of the Year 2010’ at the recent York Tourism Awards.

Organised by Visit York, the awards recognise York’s thriving tourism industry, which is worth £443 million per year (attracting seven million visitors annually).
Owner Jill Rhatigan commented:

“It’s an amazing achievement for the team at The Feversham & Verbena Spa, who have all worked incredibly hard over the last 12 months. We are so proud of each and every award we receive but we are especially delighted as this one is from our local tourism community which makes it that bit more special.”

To celebrate being named Hotel of the Year 2010, The Feversham Arms& Verbena Spa has announced a special Yorkshire Escape package, so guests can see more of Yorkshire for less!

As part of the package, guests will each receive a complimentary one day Yorkshire Pass, which allows entry into Yorkshire’s top attractions, which can be used to visit some of the numerous attractions within easy reach. These include: Castle Howard, Nunnington Hall and Gardens, Rievaulx Terrace, North Yorkshire Moors Railway and the Walled Gardens at Scampston.
